Bangers and Mash Recipe.

Bangers and Mash is a classic British dish that consists of sausages and mashed potatoes, often served with gravy and other accompaniments. Here's a recipe to make your own Bangers and Mash at home:

Ingredients:

6 pork sausages

1 1/2 pounds potatoes, peeled and chopped

1/2 cup milk

1/4 cup unsalted butter

Salt and pepper

1 onion, sliced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

1 cup beef broth

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400°F.

In a large pot, cover the potatoes with cold water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and cook until the potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.

While the potatoes are cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sausages and cook until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Transfer to a baking dish and bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes until cooked through.

In the same skillet used to cook the sausages, add the sliced onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the flour and stir to combine. Cook for 1 minute.

Gradually whisk in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Bring to a simmer and cook until the gravy has thickened, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add the butter and milk and mash until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve the sausages on a bed of mashed potatoes and pour the onion gravy over the top. Garnish
